A Day in the life of a Coca Cola driver

1. Two forty-five in the morning, this is the time David Hernandez gets up to start his workday.
2. Always by 3:15 in the morning, he is out the door and heading to work...
3...as a driver for the McAllen Valley Coca-Cola.
4. David Hernandez is reporting and punching in at 4 o'clock on the company time clock.
5. Part of the daily equipment David Hernandez uses out on the route is an electric pallet jack.
6. A Coca-Cola trailer half loaded and being prepared for David Hernandez to deliver at a retail store.
7. David Hernandez gets his hand-held computer and find out his assigned route for the day.
8. The Coca-Cola product at the company warehouse is packaged, wrapped, palletized, and ready for loading into the trailer.
9. Checker Mario Rodriguez makes sure each pallet of product is counted and accounted for before it leaves the warehouse.
10. David Hernandez loads his pallet jack unto the trailer and gets ready to head out and deliver the product.
11. David Hernandez driving into the dawn of day and heading to his first delivery stop.
12. A site to see, Sam's Club parking lot early in the morning before the huge crowd of customers hit the store.
13.Sam's grocery receiver Danny Cardoza verifies the load of product David Hernandez is delivering to the store.
14. At the end of the day, Coca-Cola checker Julio Marquez verifies and checks the driver's trucks making sure all product was delivered and received at the stores.
15. David Hernandez doing the final end-of-the-day report.
16. David Hernandez taking a rest from his 10 hour shift day. He calls this a short work day.
17. David Hernandez is checking the time he is heading home after being at work since 3:45 a.m.
18. "And we come back and we do it all over again," says David Hernandez as he walks out of the place were he has worked for the past 25 years.
